SEAFIELD CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM  WAR MEMORIALS

Seafield has a number of memorials to the dead of both World Wars.

There are individual headstones placed by the Commonwealth War
Graves Commission, and these headstones mark the final resting
place of the men and women commemorated on them.

There are individual headstones placed by relatives of the dead.
These headstones mark a family lair which may be the final resting
place of those commemorated, however they may have been "missing
in action" or have been buried in the country in which they died.

There is a communal memorial for those who fell in the Great War
and were buried at Seafield without the provision of an official
separate headstone.

There is a communal memorial for those who fell in the Second
World War and were cremated at Seafield.

The links on the left hand side of this page take you to pages that list:
those who have individual headstones,
those who are buried at Seafield and are named on that Communal
Memorial,
those who were cremated at Seafield and are named on that
Communal Memorial.

The surname of each person named contains a link to a photograph
of the relevant memorial. Each photograph can then be enlarged to
